Had the double wagyu smash burger and didn’t use so much as a drop of ketchup or mustard on it. Perfect just the way it was. A definite value for money. The bartenders are skilled, generous and never disappoint. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Winona!!
Great little casual place in Winona for fantastic local food and food vibes! Even on a dreary day it was great to sit outside and enjoy the view of the Mississippi River while we ate. Order at the counter (discount for using cash) and grab a seat. Food was brought out piping hot. They do not skimp on fresh veggie toppings on the sandwiches and the fries were excellent I also enjoyed a basil lemonade
Great ambience, good food. Although short staffed, they were welcoming and attentive to ask if we needed anything. We ordered Walleye fish & chips, crispy chicken strips and tap beer. The food was fresh and crispy, however I feel that 22 for fish and chips was pricey. Will visit again to try other items on their menu.

What a hidden gem along the Mississippi River! A group of 5 dined on Saturday night. Limited sitting, so get there early. Atmosphere was cozy with a beautiful lookout to the River. The two serving staff were wonderful, Lauren and the bartender on duty. The panko fried walleye dinner was top notch! I’m excited to make a trip back to Winona to check the Boathouse out during patio season!
Had a wonderful lunch on Saturday! We had a group of 8 and the restaurant was able to help us and seat us just fine! The food was AMAZING! everything was so fresh and tasty. I had the shrimp tacos! So good! Our food all came out so fast as well and the staff was helpful and friendly! Thank you!
Perfect experience and what we needed for a fast, delicious Friday lunch overlooking the water. My daughter and I had just toured the college and needed a substantial bite (aka not fast food) before heading our to our next destination. We were on a tight timeline, the waitress assured us the food would be out in 6 minutes and she wasn't wrong! I ordered the pulled pork sliders apps which were not served on little buns but instead on fpur little crostini( two-bite sized slices of bread). We also got the decadent skillet garlic cheese curds and she got a salad (she is vegetarian). I was super pumped to find Hobby Farmer Twitchel there so thar was a huge win! Everything came out in under 10ish minutes and we took our leftovers to go. Overall a super-fast 30 minutes and we had enough to keep us going. The wait staff were friendly and super positive. Very welcoming would visit again! Would love to eat there again!
